[Dump-users] [HELP]: Dumpsize miscalculations...

Hi... 

I am (trying) to use dump 0.4b16 on Redhat 6.1. I installed the 
software via the RPM which I downloaded from SourceForge. 

When I run the dump command, it seems to wildly miscalulate 
how many tapes it will need to fit my dumps. For example, it 
tells me it needs 34.57 tapes to dump ~800Mb onto a DDS 
SCSI tape drive. 

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there is something 
I am doing wrong, or if there are any options I could set? 

Or should I have compiled the dump/restore programs from the 
source? 

Any help much appreciated.
