But I do want all the other things that were updated. I can build the SRPM with "rpm -i --nomd5" and bypass the check, and presumably tar will catch any corruption issues with downloading the package as part of deflating the compression, and that's the main thing I worry about in checking its integrity. My server is also handling mail, which means I'm running ClamAV and SpamAssassin. I really need the "bleeding edge" versions of those packages, since AV and anti-spam need to move fast to catch the latest malware. So updating RPM to deal with that wouldn't just be a benefit with dump. |
