I think it would be very usefull, to have an option to start programs on the "active" monitor. E.g. if I'm starting a program with the START-button of the main screen, the application should be maximized (or windowed mode) on the main monitor. If I use the secondary monitor and START-button (or start an application from the system tray) it should open the application on the secondary monitor. You think that would be possible? You could simply the mouse position to determine, where to open a new program...
Greetings and thanks for that nice peace of software

I'd like to add a vote for this as this should be easy to implement

You can already do that in the following way:
    1. Go to Properties and then Window Manager tab.
    2. Define a new rule (it's best if this is the Last rule - since they are processed in order and you may not want this to override the others)
    3. Leave everything in "Match by" section unchanged (empty window class, caption, program) and also UNCHECK all 3 checkboxes.
    4. Change Action to "Move to Monitor with mouse cursor"

This rule will affect all windows and move them to the monitor with cursor.
