I tried to install the last version of OpenDSS-G (V4505) and found some problems. I followed the instructions of the user manual, but when the window of "installation complete" pops up, it doesn't let me click Next for continuing the installation of Firebird. I can only click on the Finish button and nothing else happens. I tried to use the program but when I click the New Project button, it pops up a notification "OpenDss Notification: 402873" and nothing happens. I'm looking for some help in order to understand what I am doing wrong with the installation.
Thank you for your attention.

Since version 3.5 OpenDSS-G doesn't use Firebird. No worries if you can't install it, since, you don't need it. We still have to update the documentation.
The new project button is useful when you have something on the screen and need to clear the environment, it shouldn't popup any error message. Try by adding elements once you start the program. If you get any error message let us know.

First of all, when I open the program, a circuit is by default in the program (attached as a photo) and eventhough I can see the bus and lines names, I cannot modify or do anything in the program. I tried to create a new bus but it pops up the notification "OpenDss Notification: 402873", I also tried to open an example project but it also appears the same error. Basically, when I do anything with the tools palete I get this error.
It sounds to me like if the program cannot have access to the database. where did you install the program? Normally, when installing under the "Program Files" that's an issue since Windows tends to limit the writing operations on the database.
Try by running the program as administrator, for that, right click on the program icon and select the option "Run as Administrator" that appears at the top of the popup menu.
See if that makes any difference.
The other option is to install it in a different folder, just uninstall the software and install it at the default location, which is the "ProgramData" folder.

That was the problem. Previously I installed it the folder "Program Files". I reinstalled it in the "ProgramData" and now it's working.
Thank you very Much!
