I am new to OpenDSS-G and currently trying to perform a three-phase harmonic power flow analysis using the IEEE 13-bus distribution system example. However, I am unsure how to proceed with this task.
Could anyone kindly guide me on how to achieve this or provide any relevant resources or tutorials?
The model is already 3-phase. What you need to add is harmonic spectra
(Spectrum object) for each load. There is already a default spectrum
defined for each PC element so, minimally, all you need to do is:
Solve ! solve the power flow
Solve mode=harmonics
Be sure you have some Monitor elements distributed around the circuit. The
Monitor devices will be automatically sampled after the solution at each
frequency.
Of course, to make it more interesting, you will probably want to change
some of the default harmonic spectrum definitions.

There are other videos in that channel that can provide more info. There is also the user manual, which I'm sure can be helpful to start.
I would also recommend to move the test systems from the folder "C:\ProgramData\OpenDSS-G\Test_Systems" into a different location like a folder within "Documents" or a public access folder to prevent issues due to admin privileges.
If there are more questions, don't hesitate to stop by.

Dear Roger,
Thank you for your response. May I ask where I should input the commands you provided?

Additionally, if you could share any reference documents or videos related to similar issues, it would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you again for your guidance.

Hello,
There are some videos at the OpenDSS-G YouTube channel. For harmonics simulation check this one:

This video was made with version 4.5. In version 6, several features changed, for that, please check the following content:
