Hello,
This is to verify if the model has been upgraded, because the reportes found in the model that appears in OPEN-DSS-G has some differences with the report of IEEE 37 Nodes Test Feeder.
One of them is the voltage in elements system. Voltage in the nodes close to the Vsource are around 0.92 p.u. in snap load flow. Voltages in IEEE 37 Nodes test Feeder report are around 1.02 p.u..
It was found that main transform has a difference in voltage for secondary winding. Open DSS-G model has 4 kV when it should be in 4,8 kV.
Please, let me know if there is a way to modify this data without spoiling the model. The system does not allow this modification. It just turns 4.8 kV into 0 kV. As I have explained in attached documents. See also the images.
I wonder what version of OpenDSS-G are you using since, I gave it a look in the morning and everything looks good (see attachment). Please download the latest version of DSS-G (4.1.0.4) and try again.
Dear Davis,
The version I'm now using is the same you mentioned. Please check the image of installer.
If you find something improper, please let me know.
Thanks,
Pablo B.
As you can see, the transformer voltage ratings are correct. Also, you should be able to change the value from DSS-G, if it doesn't work, then there is something wrong with the executable you have.
Just to make sure, download the executable from here:
Hello Davis,
I am very sorry, but the file cannot be downloaded because it says I need permissions.
Could you share with my another way to do this?
Thanks,
Pablo B.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Is that your personal computer or is it a company's? It sounds to me that your computer has restrictions you cannot manage, and that's a problem. I'm going to upload a new version this afternoon to fix a bug introduced in version 4.1.0.4. We can try with that one.
It should be up at sourceforge before noon.
Best regards
Davis

It looks like you may need to activate your Windows first, that may be messing with the program operation. That warning is a timeout exception, meaning that the welcome screen closed before you were able to load the environment. It shouldn't be a problem at all.
There is another possible cause, and is that the database is being blocked by a protection/antivirus/etc app. This has happened in the past:

Hello,
This is weird, I wonder if you have a corrupt executable. The IEEE 37 nodes test system is available here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/dssimpc/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/Distribution/Test_Systems/IEEE_37_Bus-G/Transformer.DSS
As you can see, the transformer voltage ratings are correct. Also, you should be able to change the value from DSS-G, if it doesn't work, then there is something wrong with the executable you have.
Just to make sure, download the executable from here:
https://sourceforge.net/p/dssimpc/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/Distribution/OpenDSSG.exe
Then, replace it in your local copy (normally installed at C:\ProgramData\OpenDSSG) and try again.
Best regards
Davis

Thank you very much! I will test it during the day. I will let you know the issue.

Hello,
When I just installed new version, system is experiencing a fail with a code 402860.
This appears once I try to open a test feeder (file).
Thanks
