I gave it a try on a brand new laptop with Windows 11 Home installed, no issues found. So it seems that the issue could be local. Let me ask you this: Did you run the installer by right clicking on it and selecting the option "Run as administrator"? If not, give it a try.
If still you have problems, you can update the product manually. For this, the executable files are available here:
Then go here:https://sourceforge.net/p/dssimpc/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/Distribution/Sub-VIs/Database/.
From this directory download DB-BASE.db (not the .FDB). And replace it at C:\ProgramData\OpenDSS-G\Sub-VIs\Database.
By the way, prior to my first installation attempt, I chose the "Run as Administrator" option. I will try to update the old version manually. I'll get back to you after. Thanks.
