I'm very new to OpenDss-G. I have tried to convert a sample circut from openDss to OpenDss-G but it creating the following error can anyone help on solving this issue
Yes, the error is very simple, is because you are trying to write at the "Program Files" folder, there are 2 solutions:
Run OpenDSS-G as administrator
Copy the model you are trying to convert to a different location (like My Documents)
That should solve the problem. However, the IEEE 37 bus model is already provided with OpenDSS-G, just go to the installation folder (Normally C:\Program Files\OpenDSSG) and there you will see a folder called "test_systems". In this folder you will find all the test systems provided with OpenDSS in OpenDSS-G format.
Best regards
Davis
