Problem updating

Hello,

I am using DSSim-PC version 1.2.1.

I have just downloaded this version from sf. I belived it was the lateset one.

However, when I initiated the app, I was prompted with a window saying there is an update available (see Fig. 1 https://drive.google.com/a/usp.br/file/d/0BxlvBm9xalpbMHNOc0Z5SmxMbm8/view?usp=sharing).

When I tried to update, an error occurred (see Fig. 2 https://drive.google.com/a/usp.br/file/d/0BxlvBm9xalpbb2RrU2V4UWl5aGM/view?usp=sharing).

I tried many times, with no success.

Can you help me, please?

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for downloading DSSim-PC. The current version in this website is unsuported and version 2.0 will be released in january 2018. In the meanwhile I remember that the method we used to use for updating the program back in the day has a timeout routine for avoiding the servers saturation.
This means that if your internet connection is not fast enough the connection will be terminated for DSSim-PC. That's why your update is failing (or at least that was the cause back then).
Try by conencting your PC to another netwrok to see what happens, if you cannot update it let me know so I can send you the files in the server.
