How to install DSSim-PC correctly and can run it?

I have downloaded the zip files and install it following the installing tips listed in the Files folder.
But When I installed it all and run it ,it went wrong
So what is going on ?

I think I have solved the problem and there still some question exists .
This program is based on OpenDSS program but it didn't include all the function such as Estimate Function . So Is there a solution to add Estimate function to the Simulation?

Thanks for download and try the Beta version of DSSim-PC, this is the non-deterministic version of DSSim-RT, which is a real-time simulator based on OpenDSS, this means that at first, it is used to simulate the behavior of the distribution network against the time presenting data using graphical interface. One solution for what you need could be use the TCP interface (the libraries for MATLAB and LabVIEW or the docuemntation about the protocol are in the libraries and documentation folders), and if you have a estate estimation algorithm, you can just request the info about the measurements and make the estimation usign your own application.
Each month we are going to release new functions of OpenDSS in the DSSim-PC trying to cover more and more functionalities.

And when I run the IEEE13 System IEEE34 System, there are still some problems.
Firstly,when I change the mode from construct to simulate ,IEEE13 system will give a message window :Can't find the C:\Users\Davis....\Loadshape1.CSV, Loadshape2.CSV and Loadshape3.CSV.and when I load the meter files, error is 'Can't find 692-675'and 'Can't find ld_9',but they are listed in the circuit.
So what is going on with this problem. and My DSSim-PC installed dir is C:\Program Files and the TestSystems dir is D:\OpenDSS... and does that matter?
Secondly,the above problems do not exist in IEEE34 System but when I load the system and load meter files and run into simulate mode ,all meters' value is 0 .and I don't know what's the matter.

Hi Kernelunix,
The problem with the IEEE 13 nodes is that it uses the loadprofiles content inside the project folder, but it does not refresh automatically, this means that you will have to redirect the load profiles manually (while we release a solution for that), to do that, please follow the indications inside the tutorial video called CH_6.mp4 which is in the tutorials folder.
About the 34 nodes system i'm going to make some test but at first it is working, please follow the steps in the tutorial video CH_4.mp4. It should work.

I installed DSSIM-PC and i created a 13 bus system and saved as in a folder. Today when i tried to "open" through DSSIM-PC, DSSIM-PC is getting closed automatically. Please help
Hi,
Maybe the problem is related with your user privileges. Try this: Make right click over the icon of DSSim-PC and select the option "Run as administrator" from the pop-up menu.

Ok, got it. There was a bug in the GUI in the routine that rules the movement of a BUS already connected. Now it has been corrected. Please update your copy of DSSim-PC by clicking "yes" when the system asks you if you want to update your copy of DSSim-PC. For doing this you must be connected to the internet when launching DSSim.

Hi Davis,
I tried to update DS-sim using "Check for updates". But some errors. I have attached screen shot. This is after reinstalling latest version of DS-Sim from sourceforge today(04-02-2014).
When i tried to open DS-Sim-PC normally, it will be shown as "checking for updates of DS-Sim..Please wait..." and after around 20 seconds DS-Sim will get opened. And when i tried to open my file whole DS-Sim is getting closed!!!!!
PS:I have already registered customised openDSS engine succesfully

I've uploaded the latest installer of DSSim-PC, so, you can download it from this website in case that the automatic update app doesn't work. To update you current version of DSSim-PC, uninstall it from your PC and install the new one.

Yes Davis. It worked. Actually i tried reinstalling also. Again it showed same problem. But later again i tried to reinstall with a latest version which came after my post,then it worked. Thanx!
