Installation not Working

    I tried to install the program with Volume>Setup file, it throws error:
    "Fatal Error. Unable to load a resource DLL"

    Sounds like the installer is corrupted, can you please try to download it again and try. If it doesn't work please let me know so we can figure it out.

    I downloaded again and it is still not working. Throws the same error.

      Hi,

      The problem is because the database is not installed, the ODBC is not instlled or the fbclient.dll library wasn't selected when installing the DB. The solution to this problem is in:

    After installation on a Windows 10 PC I get the attached error when I try to start the app.

    Good evening, I downloaded the new version of OpenDSS-G, the installation went well, but when I tried to open the IEEE 123 bus test feeder, a message showed up that does not let me open the file.

    Hi Valeria,

    This issue is because we have removed the Administrator privilegies request from OpenDSS-G due to some limitations in other users' corporative laptops. There are 2 ways to solve this issue:

    1. Execute OpenDSS-G as administrator, just right click on the OpenDSS-G icon and select "Run as Administrator" from the pop-up menu.
    2. Copy the test feeders folder from the OpenDSS-G folder to another location, like the "Documents" folder.

    I have that problem, I change the address of the folder and load again as "run administrator", and follow the same error.

    The best thing is, you send me the version 2.30 ZIP, to my email, please:

      Hi Fernando,

      Yes, that problem was solved in version 2.4 (the current version is 2.5). Please download the latest version using this website. That should solve the issue.

    I Copied the test feeders folder from the OpenDSS-G folder to another location

    I install and reinstall, any way the updated version 2.5, and it show the same ERROR.

    There is no solution!
