Hello, I have an OpenDSS-G model for a research project. I have a bunch of dss files with the dsp file in the project folder. My requirement is to convert this opendss-g project to gridlab-d. I found a few tools that changes dss file to glm files but nothing for the dsp file.
My question is: Is there any way to replicate opendss-g project to glm to use in gridlab-d. Or, is there a solution to use opendss-g project for simulation in gridlab-d?

Hi Davis, thanks for response on this question. I was however facing issues while converting opendss-g master.dss to gridlab-d. There were many errors related to the DSS file. I could not figure out what exactly the errors "attached in the example" meant. However I suppose the ditto expects the dss file to have certain configurations on opendss-g model.
If you are aware of the conversion through ditto and have any assumption where I might have missed in modeling the OpenDss-G project it would be very helpful in moving forward. I have posted question in ditto's forum but havent got a response from there. I was also thinking if there is another way to get help in this.
I'm affraid I'm not familiar to Ditto. However, given the feedback you are getting from the software it looks lile Ditto can't find the file called loadshape.dss. I wonder if running the tool in Linux has something to do with it, or is just that you missed that file into the Linix machine you are in.
Another option is to use the CIM export in OpenDSS, which is what PNNL is using for translating OpenDSS models into GridLab-D.
Sorry this is the only help I can provide.
Best regards
Davis

Hello,
You may want to look at this:
https://github.com/NREL/ditto
The master file of the OpenDSS-G file is the one called "master.dss". The .dsp file is only for OpenDSS-G reference.
