When are you getting this error? when exporting or when creating the monitor? There is a bug in the current version since it allows the user to select a bus for placing a monitor, which is incorrect. Monitors/Meters can only be linked to PC/PDElements, which are lines, transformers, capacitors, loads, rectors, generators, etc.. but never buses. So probably the error appears because as you mentioned you may be placing monitors on buses, which again, is incorrect.
We expect to release the solution in version 3, which will be released next year. For now, just don't link monitors/meters to buses.

Davis

I created monitors for loads (32 in total) for the IEEE 33 bus system (loads not buses not lines), I would like to export the voltages, currents, and P/Q measurements.
That is the issue I am getting whenever I click on export data for all the monitors.
What is the issue I am having then?

Got it, when exporting, are you clicking on the "save" or "select folder" button at the dialog window when selecting the report destination? This is a feature we are fixing for version 3. In this case try by selecting the destination folder and clicking on "select folder", that should solve the issue. Do you have OpenDSS-Viewer installed?

I tried selecting the folder, in a separate forlders etc, but still the same issue.
I have another question, suppose that I do not want to export the csv data of these monitors using the graphic interface, meaning using the dstcp interface, will export the monitors command work?

What version do you have? I tried but I can't reproduce it here. using DSTCP you should be able to get the info as well, so try it and let's see how it works.
Please let me know if you find any issue while using DSTCP.

Hello everyone,
in simulation mode, I can create monitors for loads and for the busses as well, the thing is I am facing this error everytime.
Looking forward to your answers,
