I was going to use this app until I discovered 2 annoying problems:
1. If you increase the grid font size to 14 or larger then the left hand border doesnt line up with the grid lines. Hasnt anyone noticed this? I can live with this but its annoying. You should allow users to change the font size in such a way as to cause this problem. Until you fix this bug you should prevent the font size change.
3. While editing a cell the cell is too small to display the entire font. the bottoms of the font face are cut off by a few pixels. I cant recommend other people to use this with that being the case. Cant increase font size to 16 or 18 because of issue#1 (above)

I have more or less ceased development of this particular product as there are so many great alternatives out there which are being actively developed by teams of developers. This application was developed entirely by me and I have not committed any code to it since 2005.
Like all things, I have a big rewrite planned but there is very little time in my life for this at the moment. Until that far away day when a new version of Datastream Pro is shipped, may I suggest that you try one of the alternatives which you will find at the following website:
