#1 can not get examples to work

I set up the dspgateway (v3.3) as per the
instructions in the specification, however when I
attempt to run the example as per section 7 of the
sepcifcaiton I recieve many errors along these lines:
mbx: ERR from DSP (TASKBSY): 0x1000
Am unable to determine what this means. Is it a
hardware problem or a problem with the setup?
