I would make it so you get %50 money back of all the upgrades + the original cost of the tower . Perhaps the percentage of money back you get when selling a tower could be changed in the level.txt.

Yes, I guess that what will be implemented will take selling numbers, rules and son on from the XML configuration based on some simple schemas (sell (for free, with % lost..), destroy (no income),...)
