Compiling from source and running dsoda on a 64-bit Ubuntu 8.04 machine brings up the display OK. Pressing start prints "dso_thread: unknown capture state 3" to stderr. I have the same problem with the HantekDSO project. Are there potentially protocol issues with the firmware of Hantek DSO-2250 that I'm running?
I have the same problem with my new DSO2250. My system is Debian Squeeze. Is there any way of identifiying the firmware version? Using an older version could make it work? I could provide usbsnoop traces or a few hours of research, if somebody gives me a clue for begin searching.
Could you please provide some usb communication dumps? (Preferably with usbmon) You can also compare your firmware and the one provided dsoda .deb package.
