This requires an external database of all users who ever logged in current session, which would fill up memory and resources, but its doneable. Or could be hold on external memory, and another thread.
Requires some extensive changes and work , dont know when i will be able to do it. On hold for now :)

We're talking about the case of registered-users-only hub, right? Because the way it is setup now, you will have to know user's CID to register them, and obviously they couldn't enter that kind of hub unregistered. So maybe an easier choice would be to show the CID to user at login attempt and generate a message:
"Your CID is XXX. This hub is for registered users only, please contact the administrator to register you with this CID."

Not exactly. This tracker is refering to remembering user statistics even for users who left the hub. So that for example you get the IP of some user who left the hub 2 hours ago.
Though, your idea about the registered only hub is interesting. For registered hubs only you need the cid indeed since the user cannot enter to be added by nick.
Also,I think that every self-respectable client should have some command to show oneself's CID.

I am sorry to say that I can't continue using DShub until slot ratio and a complete log are implemented in this software. There is just not enough control over users who pop in and out of the hub only to see who's there and to snag filelists. I am especially referring to the kind of user who is in 50 hubs and has 2 slots open.
Right now, when I see unwanted users I ban them, but obviously I am not around all the time and there's no log feature where I can find information about them afterwards so I can exclude them.
So, until there is a slot ratio and a complete log with nick/IP/CID (even dc++ 0.706 gives the CID info in a separate column to every user I will stop using the hub.
It shows great promise, though, I'll have a look again in a couple of month how it's progressed.
