I don't really have a lot to say, I like playing computer games, I like playing board games, I like almost any game, some people might call me a gamer, but i like to think of my self as a game lover. I don't really have a lot to say, I like playing computer games, I like playing board games, I like almost any game, some people might call me a gamer, but i like to think of my self as a game lover. Well I think i might have said that already, but to sum things up I am looking forward to working with this guild, I am a writer/editor for a literary journal, I have had some of my things published, but never under my real name. I hope to work on this with the real determination that I have inside of me.

I'm a 14 years old boy, but don't think i can't develop and work with computers, i've been in qbasic since i was 10, on my 12th i've developed maps for team apache, i've developed little programs for the gba a half year ago, and i'm very fast in learning editors and other programs. My interests are games, Chess(i'm a player with a rate of 1400 wich is very good for my age), and everything that has to do with computers. My interest in developing for ds are siege editor, and working on projects like blood brothers, making parts of worlds were is well thaught about and making complete worlds. For the last time, i am only 14 years old, but people say and i feel it by myself that there is true talent inside me.

Well, here's to. I'm John Pao ("pow"), and I've just turned 18 and graduated from high school (thank the gods). I'm lined up to start learning Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University next fall. I love gaming, but even more, I love modding. I can do pretty interesting things with skrits and Siege FX. So far I've just cracked open the scary-looking Seige Editor, but I really don't have an incredible amount of experience with it. I also hope to get into the gaming industry. That's all, thank you.

Hi there, this is Rick. I just joined the Dev Guild the other day. I am a long time programmer working on embedded systems. I write in C, C++ and Assembly on PowerPC, Arm and Mips processors.
I got into writing games early on about 1975 when I worked for a company making an Imsai clone for businesses. I wrote a simple D&D type game in basic.
I played MMORPG's online when they were first starting up, things like Gemstone 2/3 and Dragons Gate. I was working on a Macintosh FE for Gemstone 3 when David Whatley started yelling lawsuit, and I dropped it.
When I went to college (89-91) I wrote a Mud that used a seperate TCP connection to serve graphics to an XServer. I would draw the environs and simple buildings using the X toolkit. I did this for my senior project, so once I left, the game disapeared. I do think I have the source on a 400Kb Mac disk (unreadable except by my old SE)
I play online text based games (Muds, etc) I am also a Game designer for an online text based MMORPG which is going into Beta as we speak.
I wrote the base server, and am working on tools for the Mac (OS9/OSX) and Linux, as well as populating the grounds with critters and balancing the game.
I liked DungeonSiege, though the developers really did not give the players enopugh of a branched story line (it was too linear). I am glad people are able to do mods, and I look forward to working on some. Programming is my main concentration, so I am looking at skrit and how to do total conversions.
