Multi-Player question

I've finished the single-player game and imported my main character into a MP game that I hosted.  Played for several hours, completed quite a few quests, covered lots of territory.  When I go back in, absolutely nothing is saved - it's like I'm starting from scratch, even the quests.

My question is this - do you have to beat each MP world in one sitting because you can't save anything?

download dongen siege editor.  Then inport the multiplayer map. after that resave the map as a single player map.  the editor installs a mod exe file use that to play the mp game you can save and explore and take days to play Ive done it for a year and I still fine new parts to explore.  For more fun there is a mod out ther to incress your levels passed 150 however the monsters stay the same level.
