I was going to request (among other things) the choice of icons for each drive. But noticed that it's quite common request and that there is a chance for it in the future.
So... on similar note:
Anoher nice (even beetter in many cases) solution could be to just add overlays of disk space used for existing icons! Of course I know it gets complicated, because of icons resolutions, etc. (you would probably need to implement some graphics capabilities) :(
