Project is CLOSED

Hey everybody. I see some activity to this project, but i want to proclaim that I will not be answering to any kind of questions concerning development or the code fixing... I do not want to dive into this code any more. It was long ago with one purpose - to try if it would work.
THERE ARE A LOT OF BROKEN CODE AND LOGICAL MISTAKES, that I do not want to fix.
There are two more not published projects representing FR protocol issues (TCL and Python versions). Python driver is hard tested and now is widely used in some companies. Since it was written specially for the retail company the source code is closed up. TCL driver war written just for fun and may be published at any time or request. Main idea of last two versions is flexible protocol tuning, no need to change code in case of adding fields or commands. You just edit xml (in case of Python) configuration file to extend funcionality. Plus you are free to write trigger functions.
Another project, that is in the betta stage, is about serial protocol programming. The idea is that you specify the way two devices communicate over a serial connection (no matter wether it is tty or socket or pipe) by writing sequences that are used in communication. Work is done with Python.
Anybody who is interested are welcome. ... read more
