3.2.2 is in cvs.  I fixed a show stopper, plus integrater to more important bugfixes, and made a release.

I will aim for fixing the rest of the bugs for 3.2.2, but that assert error may be an underlying wxPython bug.  I am not sure.  I am actually set with the other bugs, (I may not be able to fix the highlight one, that may also be wxPython), however that assert error is an ulgy thing, and I am a bit stumped.
