A few months ago i posted a message saying that DrPython segfaults alot when i am in the preferences menu changing stuff.
A few days later i said it stopped not knowing why.
It started to segfault again and much more than usual.
No only when changing stuff in the preference but also when switching to another window and coming back to drpython.
The error message was always pretty much the same and was like:
/usr/bin/drpython: line 3: 4084 Segmentation fault python /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/drpython/drpython.py
It was always line 3 which is only a comment, but the 4084 number was always a different one.
The reason it segfaulted was related to the WindowManager.
It only crashes when i use the ION Windowmanager, which is a fullscreen tiling Windowmanager.
That means it start all apps in fullscreen-mode and you can tile the Window/Frame horizontally/vertically if you want to have multiple Windows/Frames visible on the same Screen.
Im glad i noticed that, but i have no clue which "fault" this is.
Should i message to the ION Mailinglist about it or to the wxpython guys?
I just tried it on another fullscreen WM called ratpoison, it does not segfault here.
I would say the wxpython or wxwigets maybe. That sounds like an interesting WM. I'll have to check it out.
