i get this error when i click drpython.pyw or drpython.lin:
Bitmap Directory (/home/xxx/drpython/bitmaps) Does Not Exist.
This is either a bug with DrPython,
an error with your installation,
or the bitmap directory was simply removed.
if i create /bitmaps... i dont know how to run it and nothing installs in that folder.
i am running fedora core 2 and i have the latest python version and wxpython
pls help me install...i really need this
ps- if you could make or point to an .rpm file that would be better

Allright.
I have no idea. This is a case of works fine for me.
So let's figure out what is going on.
This should not be a problem.
Let's say you download and unzip drpython-3.4.9.zip in your home directory.
You should now have:
/home/xxx/drpython-3.4.9
bitmaps is a subdirectory.
If it does not exist, the file you downloaded was corrupt.
Try changing to this directory, typing ls, and tell me what you see.
Cheers,
Dan
PS There are rpm files, the most up to date I can find on a cursory google is a mandrake rpm of 3.4.3.
Thanks dan for responding.
I decided to take the easy way out and installed the madrake rpms... maybe in later versions i will not get this error.
peace
enjoy the rpm version.
