Is this something in the works for a future release? It would be convenient as we need to check all of our code in and out of SourceSafe. Can do it manually, but that is kind of a pain. Found that pythonwin doesn't do this well over the network with logins. Besides, I've gotten pretty comfortable with drpython. :-)
Thanks.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
As an FYI - there is a module that ties in to this via the pythonwin modules. The problem is that it doesn't seem to handle logging in to remote VSS Servers with a name and password. I don't know how much Mark Hammond is working on VSS right now, but he may be willing to lend some code towards supporting this.

Yes, and No.
(And By yes I mean no, and by no I mean yes).
I have never used SourceSafe. However If I had an idea of what was involved, this could always be added as a plugin.
I see this also so.
Such things would certainly blast the project.
Or do we want an "Eierlegende Wollmilchsau" as emacs ? :)
"Eierlegende Wollmilchsau": such a useful animal,
which lay eggs, give milk, give meat and wool.
:) No Comment at this juncture.
