What about using notebook tab in the side panels?
So panel size could be saved.
(example when you use findall and todo), there could be two notebook tabs instead.

findall is not so useful for me.
displaying text (or fragments of text) would be nicer.
Also a refresh button and a text field to input a new find string
(combobox with history).

What thoughts?
