There was an immature little comment on my blog, and I thought I'd expound a little here too.
I am a developer, and I am also a citizen. I have political views, and it is my right and responsibility to engage in discourse about them. Democracy is about creating a community out of a society filled with different opinions and beliefs. Simply because you do not agree with someone, is no excuse to act in an uncivilized manner. Disagreement is to be found, encouraged, and relished, as it is the lifeblood of a healthy democracy.
I have said before, this forum is open to any topic. If you want to discuss open source's role in politics, feel free to do so.
Do not put up a lame comment about how "You won't donate" because I do not like our current president.
If my politics are that offensive to you, engage me in a discussion about the issues. Don't throw a verbal temper tantrum on my website.
