In a new version of DrPython built from scratch, what features would you like to see kept from the 3.x branch and why? Are there any features DrPython doesn't have yet, that it should have? Please do explain goodly folk!

Resizable panes will definitely be going. The code for them is rather nasty, and 3.x has some ugly performance issues partially related to those panes. On Linux for example, 3.x is a flickery mess.

Latest version 3.11.3 is not working correctly under Fedora 20. It apparently cannot find the version of libpng it needs and won't load its own png files. Says they are corrupt or it is out of memory.

I would like to see the automatically downloading add ons work. They do not on my copy.
This download of plugins is a very old code. Sourceforge changed apparantly the internal structure, so this is not possible anymore.
