Hi, I saw you comment on the Documentsnap blog on this topic, so guessed you may be the right person to ask.
I am trying to use the date from document contents %FirstFileContentDateNormalized% from an OCR'ed PDF file, without success. The trouble is that I have a lot of documents from France to process, and the French use "/" as separator, e.g. 01/02/2020 for 1st Feb 2020.
Is there any way to adapt DropIt (e.g. in settings.ini) so that this date gets recognized? Ideally in a way that DropIt would also continue to recognize dates with "." separators?
Thanks for your efforts!
Cheers, Michael
Yes, it's possible (or was) if you edit a certain file that describes how dates should be expected. I added like 20 different ways, but then it started to confuse Month with Day in European format with American. Otherwise worked well.
