#147 Subfolders always scanned
I have configured DROPT IT to not scan subfolders as http://www.dropitproject.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=howto:automatically_scan_folders
But It always warn me It is going to process 196GB which is the sum of content of all subfolders.
I always cancel it ! ;-)
You could consider to disable the alert message from Options. The next release will include a new monitoring mode that will not have this problem.
This behavior is by design: With the check option enabled, DropIt first checks the size of all folders and subfolders. DropIt does not check, if files or folders are skipped by any association in that step.
So, with the filesize option enabled, DropIt will always do this check, which is also correct, as DropIt can not know, how much time it has to spend with these files and folders.
