Making it work with python 3 and later Linuxes?

I know this is an old project, but I'll ask anyway!
Using a Drobo S, USB connection, Linux Mint 20.1 (based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) I can get a little way with "sudo python2 drobom status". The Drobo is recognised. But "sudo python2 drobom view" brings up an error about python-qt4 (I think - I'm not at the Drobo location now) missing, and that is not installable.
As Python 3 is now the version to use, has anyone been able to make the code work with Python 3 and later Linuxes that do not have Qt 4?
drobo-utils moved to github a few years ago. over is something much more likely to help you.
