I am using the latest version of DrJava (drjava-stable-20080106-0744) and I have Java SE 6 installed on my computer. When I tried to compile the HelloWorld.java, there was an error:
1 error found:
File: C:\Java\HelloWorld.java [line: (no source location)]
Error: error: error reading C:\Users\Cuong Pham\Desktop\drjava-stable-20080106-0744.exe; cannot read zip file entry

Pls tell me how to fix this. Thanks.
Note: the program works normally with J2SE

Are you using Windows Vista? What exact upgrade of Java 6?
While searching for your error message, I found the following:

    http://groups.google.com/group/uw.cs.cs134/browse_thread/thread/a505eaff18c34afe

Apparently, there are some problems with newer upgrades of Java 6 and Vista, and sometimes with Windows XP. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I have a student with this same problem. Is a patch or workaround eminent?

This issue has likely been addressed in a version that is more recent than the one you are using.

Please download the most recent version of DrJava from the DrJava website at:
