[DrJava] Odd Compiler Invocation?

Is DrJava doing something odd when invoking the 1.5 compiler?  I am noting
that if I compile classes directly with javac annotations are being
respected; however when compiling with DrJava it appears the annotations are
being ignored.  I have uninstalled every non 1.5 version of JDK from my
system just in case DrJava wasn't fully using 1.5.
