Category: Compiler integration Group: 1: Would be nice if fixed ... Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Dan McCuaig (dmccuaig) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: JRE6 / JDK5.x conflict/confusion Initial Comment: If a user has JDK 5.x installed, but JRE 6.0 installed, drJava cannot compile and run programs. The solution is to either uninstall the JRE 6.0 or upgrade the JDK 5.x to 6.0 This happened because Java's JRE upgraded itself using it's update program (jusched). drJava rocks! The interaction pane is a killer tool when demonstrating new concepts to users. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1709391&group_id=44253 |
