Initial Comment:
If (accidentally) I try to open a project that I currently have open, DrJava will close the project, then reopen it.  What I would expect in this situation is that nothing will happen, or perhaps that I would be prompted to revert to the copy on disk.  This is what happens when you try to open an already-open file.
