Category: Project Facility Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Incompatible date format when using Chinese language OS Initial Comment: When using DrJava with WinXP Chinese edition, the month portion of the date for the files listed inside the project file are written in localized characters. This means 2 things: 1) a DrJAva project written in, for instance, a Chinese OS cannot be read by an English OS and 2) a project file written in an English OS cannot be read from a Chinese OS. I would think this might be true for almost any pair of different language operating systems. Attached is a project that was created using WinXP Chinese edition. Here are the specs for the system: Type of computer: Dell XPS M1210 Operating System: Windows XP (Chinese version) Version number of DrJava: 20061025-1556 Version number of JDK: jdk1.6.0 Submitted by Stephen Wong (sw...@ri...) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1650139&group_id=44253 |
