Initial Comment:

I recently downloaded the JDK 5.0 Update 11 online.I also downloaded version 1.5.0 of Dr Java.
When i declare an object of ArrayList class, it gives me an error saying:

File: C:\ArrayListSearchableStack.java  [line: 14]
Error: type ArrayList does not take parameters


I have never faced this error before when i used the ArrayList class.Could you kindly tell me how i can rectify this error.
