Initial Comment:
Im running DrJava with the most current JDK and JRE 
on Windows XP Pro. My processor is 64bit, but im not 
using WindowsXP 64 so that doesnt affect anything. I 
have the most stable release of DrJava.

For some reason, DrJava is very slow to process 
commands, mouseclicks, and keystrokes.

The text appearing on the screen lags behind my 
keystrokes as I type, and doing something as simple 
as dragging the interactions pane to expand it lags 
behind the movement of the mouse.

In addition, any interaction takes about 3 seconds to 
resolve, even something as simple as int x;

why is this happening, and what can i do to fix it? I 
need DrJava to work for my classes.
