Summary: Running program in debug mode resets interactions

Initial Comment:
When in debug mode, if the user clicks the Run button
or presses F2, interactions are reset and debug mode is
exited.

The program then runs outside of debug mode.

If the user runs the program from the interactions pane

ex:

> java MyProg

then this does not happen.
