Bugs item #1487530, was opened at 2006-05-12 11:31 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1487530&group_id=44253 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Debugger Group: 2: Annoying Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Dan Smith (dlsmith) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: "Cannot set a breakpoint on an empty line" in Interactions Initial Comment: I get a warning stating, "Cannot set a breakpoint on an empty line," printed in blue in the Interactions pane whenever I attempt to set a breakpoint on an empty line. I'm not sure if it is intentional or just a forgotten debugging message. If it *is* intentional, the warning would probably be more appropriate in a dialog box or on the status bar. Putting it in the Interactions pane blurs the boundary between the user's program output and DrJava's feedback. (It might make a little more sense if I were running the debugger while I was setting breakpoints, but I think it would still a bit disconcerting.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438935&aid=1487530&group_id=44253 |
