Several of my students have been gettin gthis error 
since the latest stable release:

File: (no associated file)  [line: (no source 
location)]
Error: Compile exception: java.lang.InternalError: 
jzentry == 0,
 jzfile = 10522672,
 total = 2354,
 name = H:\drjava-stable-20060127-2145.exe,
 i = 1,
 message = couldn't read LOC header

It locks up Dr.Java, which stops repsonding to all 
commands.
