Summary: Definitions pane in inconsistent state

Initial Comment:
If a project is opened while the debugger is stopped at
a breakpoint, the definitions pane for the project does
not udpate its display when editing operations are
performed on the initial active document.  Switching to
another document within the project appears to reset
the definitions pane to a consistent state.
