Hi Sue,

We expected to release a new stable release earlier this year, but 
accommodating all
of the changes in Java 5.0 and adding some important new features to 
DrJava (lightweight
projects, language levels, better documentation) have taken longer than 
we expected.

We have a new build that is nearly ready to release as a candidate 
stable release but we
have a few glitches in the unit tests on Linux (they all pass on 
Windows).  I predict that
we will fix these glitches by the end of today (Friday).  At any rate, a 
new candidate stable
release is imminent.

After the candidate stable release comes out, it will be converted to a 
stable release in
a week if no serious problems are detected.
