Category: Other Group: Unknown size Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nick Solin (patpeter) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: .drjava option to save in user or local directory Initial Comment: I use Dr. Java on my flash drive. So if I want to use Dr. Java on another computer I have to copy .drjava from my user folder to my flash drive, copy it to the new computer, and then copy it back if I opened any new programs or changed any settings. At first I tried to use a batch script to copy .drjava from my flash drive and copy it back when it finished, but drjava.exe and drjava.jar always hand off to another process. Anyway, having the .drjava file in the same directory as drjava.exe would make Dr. Java 100% portable. I know you cannot always put it in the same directory as the drjava.exe because that does not adhere to multi-user systems. Maybe save .drjava to the same directory only if it is not on a hard drive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438938&aid=3012922&group_id=44253 |
