Initial Comment:
Well, the summary says it all.  Currently, Javadoc
rejects all 1.5-type syntax.  I would have thought it's
a problem with the arguments we pass to Javadoc
programmatically, but I'm not sure if it works at all
for the moment.  When I try it from the command line,
it blows up with an internal IllegalArgumentException.
 I haven't tested it on a wide range of files, though.

Regardless, this is something we should get working
before the official release of 1.5.
