   For those interested, the dev docs have been updated with a more 
specific comment on ANT_OPTS.  (It seems it's only required on OS X 10.2 
or earlier, and definitely not on other platforms.)

   Also, I've just posted an update to the FAQ with several new entries. 
  Any comments or additions are welcome.
