Initial Comment:
When I run the following program:

import java.io.*;                                     
                         
                                                      
                         
public class Test {                                   
                         
  public static void main( String[] args)  throws
IOException  {                
    InputStreamReader reader= new InputStreamReader
(System.in);               
    BufferedReader console = new BufferedReader(reader);
    console.readLine();
  }                                                   
                         
}

the mouse pointer in the interaction pane turns into a
watch and I cannot type anything. The only way to
terminate the program seems to be to reset interactions.
