Summary: esc cancells yellow highlighting

Initial Comment:
Having the line associated with an error highlighted in 
yellow is great to for finding the line, but there should be 
an easy way to make the highlighting go away so it 
doesn't get in the way of editing, which on often wants 
to do on the indicated line. I suggest the esc key be 
used to cancel highting.

Among others (I think), blue highlighting with double 
clicking doesn't work on yellow highlighted code.
