Feature Requests item #2984102, was opened at 2010-04-08 14:48 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by mgricken You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438938&aid=2984102&group_id=44253 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: User interface Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mathias Ricken (mgricken) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Disable Javadoc Menu Items without tools.jar Initial Comment: When no tools.jar file was found (i.e. the JDK isn't installed), the javadoc feature cannot be used. Currently, the Javadoc menu items are still enabled, though, but when being used, they generate the following unsightly error message: 1 error found: File: (no associated file) [line: (no source location)] Error: The javadoc feature is not available. We should disable the menu items entirely, and perhaps provide an explanation somewhere why this was done. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=438938&aid=2984102&group_id=44253 |
